DyMe-A-DuZiN is the epitome of a rising star. Since emerging onto the music scene, the 20-year-old rap phenom has garnered the attention of hip-hop aficionados and music execs alike. The Brooklyn emcee wrote his first song at the age of 11, produced his first music video at the age of 14 and landed a major recording contract with Warner Bros Records at the age of 19.

DyMeZ’s witty, fun and edgy delivery alongside a quirky flair has attracted an international and local fan base. DyMeZ has managed to capture the culture of his generation through his music. His lyricism acts as a breath of fresh air amongst the realms of mainstream hip-hop and though inspired by pioneers and influencers of rap, DyMeZ has succeeded in constructing a delivery that is distinctive to him alone.
It is this distinction that has paved the way for this budding artist to work with hip-hop heavyweights, most notably producers Plain Pat, Emile Haynie whom were featured on DyMeZ’s “20=X “ mix tape, and opened for the likes of Theophilus London and Wynter Gordon.
He has performed at venues such as SOB’s, The Knitting Factory, Tower Records, Public Assembly, The Tank, High-line Ballroom, The Roxy Nightclub in Hollywood, CA and the fabulous Club KoKo, in Camden, London.
DyMeZ has also graced the stage at several community events, such as The South Bronx Earth Fest, The Brooklyn Street Festival, The Soho Street Festival, The Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival and has made special appearances at Bronx Community College, Hunter College, University of Virginia and Colgate University.
Whether through his music or performances, DyMeZ continues to build a huge following. He has gained steady traction on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube with over 150 videos and over six million views to his YouTube page collectively. DyMeZ has also obtained notable features from The Source, On Smash, Complex and XXL magazine.
With a successful career under his belt, DyMe-A-DuZiN is ready to propel his career unto the next level. He is currently prepping the anticipated release of his EP under Warner Bro’s Records entitled “A Portrait Of Donnovan”. As the title presumes, the EP will draw listeners closer to the emcee, painting a clearer picture of the skills he possesses and what he has to offer to hip-hop’s world stage.
