As we close the chapter on the year 2012 as it pertains to movies, it is time to look forward to what will be coming in 2013. Over the course of a few days, we will show you trailers from impending movies. In our first of several teasers, today we feature Superheroes/Heroes in 2013:

42 Movie Trailer. The true story of an American Legend ! “42” movie tells the powerful story of Jackie Robinson, the legendary baseball player who broke Major League Baseball’s color barrier when he joined the roster of the Brooklyn Dodgers. “42” stars Academy Award nominee Harrison Ford as the innovative Dodger’s general manager Branch Rickey, the MLB executive who first signed Robinson to the minors and then helped to bring him up to the show, and Chadwick Boseman as Robinson, the heroic African American who was the first man to break the color line in the big leagues. In theaters April 12, 2013.

Superman: Man Of Steel:
Release Date: June 14, 2013
Plot: Henry Cavill plays Superman in director Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel.” The film also stars Amy Adams as Daily Planet journalist Lois Lane, and Laurence Fishburne as her editor-in-chief, Perry White. Starring as Clark Kent’s adoptive parents, Martha and Jonathan Kent, are Diane Lane and Kevin Costner.
Squaring off against the superhero are two other surviving Kryptonians, the villainous General Zod, played by Michael Shannon, and Faora, Zod’s evil partner, played by Antje Traue. Also from Superman’s native Krypton are Lara Lor-Van, Superman’s mother, played by Ayelet Zurer, and Superman’s father, Jor-El, portrayed by Russell Crowe. Rounding out the cast are Harry Lennix as U.S. military man General Swanwick, as well as Christopher Meloni as Colonel Hardy.
G I Joe: Retaliation
“G I Joe: Retaliation” movie hits theaters on March 29, 2013.
