Moye’ is a shy quiet observer who studies her subjects before capturing their image on canvas, cloth or film. One with such talent does not need to speak but let her work, her images, and her passion for creating speak for itself. “I love what I do. I have been working for myself for twelve years. I love the freedom. I love to create,” says Moye.’
Moye’ is gifted and flows from one journey to the next when it comes to the art. Her photography has taken her to places to experience life through the lens in Africa, Germany, China and here in the United States.
“The hardest part of being Moye’ is getting people to appreciate my value, my message. It is okay for people to love art and to purchase art. Art is an important part of life.”
Moye’ believes self-discovery, self-awareness, and recognizing our reflections in all things are essential to our life’s journey. Moye’ seeks to inspire people to look deep within and open doors to places untouched, to keep the spark alive in places already discovered, and to push the boundaries of what society views as beautiful and artistic.
“I do not have a preference when it comes to my art. I can do photography or design work and I am just as happy. What we as a people, a community, need to embrace is that we can be many things because we have the power to do it all on a positive level,” says Moye.’
Through her new project, “Harness Your Super Powers,” Moye’ wants to make a difference. She wants to motivate others to go do the things that they know in their heart that they want to do, especially young people.
